The emotional bond with family members is the most important creative source of artist Ying-Chang Lu. His works deeply record those ordinary but extraordinary life. The animal characters portrayed under artist's hands all have their corresponding family members. They walk in tender and accompany with each other to start a scenes of wonderful stories, and the eternal garden woven by the artist, which is like a guardian who cares and defends his beloved animals. In Ying-Chang Lu's artworks is shown such as gardens, starry sky, wishing pools, dreams or moonlight, which seems to symbolize those common and beautiful things in daily life and presents the most simple life as well as the happiness on the present.
