CHANG LI-YEH
張立曄
1967年出生於嘉義,畢業東吳大學,作品曾展於台灣、日本、德國、法國、中國及韓國,也被典藏於國立臺灣美術館、國立歷史博物館中。
張立曄擅長以奇幻的想像力來進行創作。他的畫風,基本上融合了卡漫、原生與民間神話美學的氣質,同時又注入很濃的靈性能量,使得作品同時具有幽默與靈性的混合體。
他喜歡用一種「滿」的多式,讓畫布充滿華麗的生命力,使觀者欣賞作品時變成一種豐盛麗視覺饗宴。他從內在與大自然裡,尋找到那股活潑而野性的力量,並將之型塑成一隻隻的小怪獸們,他相信這象徵原始而純真的能量,也存在於每個人的體內深處,透過這些作品,他希望可以喚醒自己或其他人體內的這股力量,返樸歸真!
Born in 1967 in Chiayi, Li-Yeh Chang graduated in Soochow University and his artworks were exhibited in Taiwan, Japan, Germany, France, China, and Korea, also, were collected in National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts and National Museum of History.
Li-Yeh Chang is good at creating with a fantasy imagination and his style consists of comic books, animated, original and local mythical custom as well as spiritual energy in his works to make them like a combination with humor and spirit. He likes to use a way of '' filling'' into the works to show a magnificent life when viewers watch them, works become a feast of vision. He searches that cheerful and wild power from his inner and nature to turn them into pieces of little monsters; he believes that power symbolizes pure and nature to exist inside human being, through these works, he wishes that evokes himself and others' energy inside the body.
