詹琇鈞居住的故鄉，正面迎向花蓮港；花東縱谷與山脈、海有種密不可分割的關係。她藉由這個發想，與花蓮、祖先家鄉新竹、台中，做文化上的結合，似乎不只是表達這些地區，而是以地域性的關聯，呈現出若即若離的姿態。

I drew the majority of inspirations from my hometown. It’s a place that has a deep connection with the mountain and the sea. I grew up in Hualien, an eastern county in Taiwan. The Pacific Ocean is to the east, and the Central Mountain Ridge is to the west. Hualien harbor is seated in front of my residency as a neighbor. I brought the elements of hometown Hualien, ancestral home Hsinchu, and Taichung together, and integrated them into my paintings through culture and express the appearance of local residents, landscape base on my observation.
